If I close a page which is at the bottom, the pop–up notification will prevent me from closing following pages at the bottom. To wait it to dissappear or to move it horizontally out (which takes a rather long distance for fingers, hope you can allow users to customize the distance) are inconvenient.

FYI this has already been reported at Bugzilla (multiple times), and you are aware of the swipe option, so I don't think there is anything actionable from our side here at SUMO.
