Hi I just saw the new info on backing up my Firefox data. It sounded good, so I tried it. However I do not see 'Manage Backup'. Instead it asks 'Choose backup file'. I have never knowingly backed up Firefox, so I do not know where this backupfile is located... How can I find it? How do I create a new backup file? Many thanks An

Hi,

Are you on Windows 10? Currently, creating backups is not available on other OSs. Particularly, on Windows 11 you can only restore from already created backups. Is that your case?

Thanks very much for responding, Denys Yes, I am on Windows 11. I have never made a backup before; but the yesterday's new version of Firefox said I could now do this. So that is why I tried. However, the instructions it gave did not correspond to what I saw. Hence my question. I guess I will ahve to wait until this feature has been implemented for windows 11. Many thanks!
