This not a reply, it is a follow-up with more information. I know this bug is in Firefox, because Google Chrome does not have the bug, and no other apps have the bug, just Firefox. The bug breaks several websites and makes them un-usable, the worst affected are Google Maps, followed by Youtube. I can't be the only person that has this problem, so I don't understand why your help-search feature has no hits when querying "mouse pointer flickering". I'm using a Wacom Graphics Tablet instead of a mouse; could this have something to do with it?

This problem only happens with Firefox. Chrome does not have this problem. No other apps have this problem. The problem is with Firefox, and started recently, about 2 months ago.

I've now switched to Chrome as my default browser.
