Search bar suggestion
Hello, i've turned off about everything I know of and I am still getting search suggestions when opening a new tab, in the floating search bar.

Okay, this is Zen Browser, not Firefox. In about:preferences#search, make sure everything is disabled as shown in the screenshot below. This will remove a few of the suggestions you see. However, it does not seem like Shortcuts can be disabled normally. See https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/issues/8259
There are two things you can try:
From https://www.reddit.com/r/zen_browser/comments/1kizqqd/am_i_stupid_how_do_i_get_rid_of_these/, you can use about:newtab.
From https://www.reddit.com/r/zen_browser/comments/1kj4gh8/why_cant_i_turn_off_shortcuts/, you can make changes to about:config (explained more in a comment).
Warning: Changing Firefox preferences from the about:config page can sometimes break Zen Browser/Firefox or cause strange behavior. You should only do this if you know what you're doing. Please read Firefox advanced customization and configuration options to learn more.

Thanks for helping out with this one, Mark. However, since this not a Mozilla product, I'm going to lock this thread to avoid the impression that we cover Zen Browser in this platform.
