problem with Edit Email Subject (EES)

Thank you David and SFHowes for helping me install EES successfully!

But upon trying to edit an email subject line, EES didn't work and the little screen that came up to do the job just kept scrolling (see screenshot). Any ideas how to get EES to work?

I installed the add-on in TB 128/W11, and it worked on a message in an IMAP folder. After a few seconds the rotating circle in your picture turned to a green check mark and the Subject was changed as intended. I can't say why it doesn't work on your Linux system. It has been reported by another user:
