When I try to open a link by right-clicking and selecting "open link in new tab" or "open link in new window", nothing happens.

It sounds like a frustrating issue! Here are a few things you can try to fix it:

Disable Extensions: Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with link opening. Try disabling extensions (especially pop-up blockers) to see if it solves the problem. Go to the menu (three horizontal lines), select Add-ons and Themes, then Extensions, and turn them off one by one.

Clear Cache and Cookies: Temporary files can cause weird issues. Go to the menu, select History, then Clear Recent History, and choose Cache and Cookies.

Check Pop-up Blocker Settings: Type about:preferences in the address bar, go to Privacy & Security, and make sure pop-ups aren’t blocked for the website you’re trying to open.
