Lost all my tabs after a force restart, this has never happened before

Had to restart my computer because it froze, but when i open firefox all my tabs are suddenly gone, this has never happened before and i do force restart my pc plenty of times.

the "restore previous session" button doesnt even show up in my menu; my about:profile page doesnt show or open my previous activity; and all my files in the sessionstore-backups folder are way too small and recent to be holding my old tabs ( i had over 300 open)

What can i do?

it hasn't happen to me recently, but I make a copy of the sessionstore-backups folder in the profile once a week. see screenshot
