Please help, miss using Thunderbird. Finally got the prog setup for OA2 Security but am getting an error in the popup, sign-in process. when it tries to authenticate and asks to login in the pop-up browser, I get the error: "You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead." this is my home PC and im not working. how can i fix this? can i switch browsers or use a different login? Thanks, BW Deen

Hotmail/ Live/outlook/msn do not offer offer oauth authentication on free accounts. They do offer it for accounts paid for under the office brand or those offered through educational facilities.

That error indicates the account is of the "free" type and needs to use an application password not oauth.2,0 authentication.
