Transfering emails
Hi lasr year my computer died, I sent it Ti a Tech and he copied a backup of my drive and reinstalled the OS, so I installed Thunderbird and copied the data files over but it didn't work, so I tried to copy it to a different folder but that didn't work eather, is there a way I can copy my old emails and folders so I can get all my emails which I need with all my software serials and family tree

Copy the c:\(yourname)\appdata\roaming\thunderbird folder - all of it and store in same location on new PC. That will normally be all that is required. The profile is a folder within that folder, but you need it all.
I did that and it didn't work
Can you post a screenshot from file explorer of that folder? If the folder can be located, all will be well.
