I would like a "toggle on / toggle off" birthday calender added to Lightning so that I can check it every day without it interfering with the rest of my calender / tasks.

Vybrané riešenie

Open the Calendar tab. Select File-New-Calendar Name it Birthdays. Add your birthday events to this calendar.

Make sure you have the Calendar List showing. View-Calendar-Calendar Pane Check both Show Calendar Pane and Calendar List.

When you want the birthdays to show check the Birthday calendar in the Calendar Pane.
