using Firefox 57 I noticed a new folder in the profile in use named: chrome_debugger_profile can be related to the fact I recreated the chrome folder and applied some .css codes ? or what else ?

the first time you open the web developer > "browser toolbox" the new folder chrome_debugger_profile will be created if you delete it the next time will be recreated

The Browser Toolbox runs in its own thread as ax separate application and uses its own profile in order to worked independent from Firefox. If you use the toolbox then leave this folder alone.
