No matter which add-on I try to install, it says, "Software Installation is currently disabled. Click enable and try again." .. I've tried clicking enable as well as going to about:config and toggling xpi.enabled.. still nothing. Please help.

We had a problem with addons.mozilla.org not being in our mirror network. This should be sorted out in the next 30 min.

Ok. Fixed it.

Had to create a new profile.

If anyone has (had) the same problem, and you have a lot of bookmarks you don't wanna lose, make sure you back them up on your old profile as a saved file--on your desktop, create a new profile, and then import them in your new profile.

You can try this: Install an old version of firefox 3.6 and install the needed extensions then update to firefox 4.
