On my solaris server, there is an application which, in order to display some information, opens the browser. The server can be accessed thorugh X windows by various users. The issue is that whn firefox is open on one display, it fails to open on another display. The resolution for this problem as suggested by a lot of users on various forums is to create different profiles for various firefox instances. However, everytime my application will launch firefox, i will have to invoke it with -P option which will pop up the profile manager. I do not wish to show the pop up for creating profiles:(. Is there some way to allow multilple instances of firefox to run on different displays?
