o365: [trycreate] destinatio mailbox could not be found

more options

Hello !!

I have used Thunderbird couple of years witnin Office365, and it ahs worked fine. For some reason, last week whe I delete e-mails from Thunderbird I start geting message "... [trycreate] destinatio mailbox could not be found". First I think mikro$oft has made some changes in office and I update my Thunderbird. Update didn't make any change. I can delete e-mails if I'm in web-office. But not from Thunderbird client. Our mikro$oft guy look my account and say there is used 1% of my volume. And nothing seems to be wrong. I have all rwx-rights I need.

Have anyone found same behaviour? Or is this just my luck again?

It is as if the folders in your imap mail account are not able to synch with a specific folder on server.

Try subscribing again to see Trash folder or whatever that folder is called on the server.

  • Right click on imap mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe'
  • A small window opens showing list of folders.
  • click on 'Refresh'
  • Select/highlight the Trash folder in the list
  • click on 'Subscribe'
  • click on 'OK'

Restart Thunderbird.

Unfortunately this didn't solve my problem. Advice was good and logic, but Somehow it didn't work.

I run this command subscribe couple of times, but problem still stays.
