Many years ago, when I was using opera browser, I remember they had pretty decent keyring for storing passwords. It was only triggered by using a shortcut key (I think it was shitf+enter or ctrl+enter). In both cases (opera and firefox) I set master password in order to protect all the passwords inside keyrings. But in firefox whenever I go to a site where I previously registered, the popup window automatically shows up asking me for password so it could fill some form on the site. The problem is that I don't necessary want to log in all the time. Sometimes I just want to read an article and then just close the tab. The really annoying thing is, for instance, when you have a comment system implemented on a certain site (usually wordpress + disqus) and even though I don't really want to comment most of the blog articles, firefox always asks me for password in order to open the keyring, and when I just press "cancel", as soon as I go to another page on the same site, it pops up again.

The question is how to change this kind of behavior, I mean I wanted to have the opera's solution, so I could just press "shift+enter" on a certain site and then (if the keyring had password for it) the popup window would show up. Can I achieve something like that?
