FireFox freezes computer
Hello, FireFox keeps freezing my computer completely to where I have to hard reset it. I've turned off Hardware acceleration, cleared the whole browser, reinstalled a clean version of Firefox. I just upgraded my motherboard, processor, and RAM. Please don't say the typical obvious answers like "Is the RAM the same?" Yes, both sticks came out of the same exact box.
The freezing seems to only occur about after 10 - 20 minutes of browsing and it always seems to be when I load a new page or something after that 10 - 20 minute mark.

What did you actually install, and where did you obtain that ?
- Try a clean install from
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ - On a clean install delete the existing program files
See Troubleshoot and diagnose Firefox problems_5-reinstall-firefox
Presumably you did do that ? - I hope you did not inadvertently install an experimental or third party 64bit Firefox ?
As you mention the possibility or RAM problems consider running an overnight test with memtest or similar.
Is the problem only with Firefox ?
Or does other software also have freezes or problems.
