Are you using a current version, or an addon that might mess with address books?

Thunderbird switched from the use of MAB files some time ago now. (multiple releases)

Yes, most current version on MacOS 13.0.1 I'll check the addons. Good point.

Disabled all (3) add-on extensions. No change. Since it doesn't seem to be causing any real problems (I was just curious why I was seeing this over and over again in the error console), I guess I'll try to not worry about it.
