Hi

I keep receiving messages to upgrade my Thunderbird app after already installing the upgrade. Is this a scam or admin overload?

Cheers,

Bob.

Perhaps you could post an image (screen capture) of that prompt. Some come from third party software including some anti virus products which get their releases from an FTP site and have been known to preempt general release by a month. Completely ignoring the managed upgrade process Thunderbird uses.

V102 released a couple of days ago. But upgrades will not be released to occur until quite probably V102.1 as the release team are conscious of unexpected bugs and loads on the upgrade servers. SO having an image would help work out what your issue is.

I see no screenshots Bob. Are you saving them an PNG files (they tend to be smaller and upload and display faster.) Only PNG, GIF and Jpeg file formats are supported by the forum software.

Hi Matt

both screenhots are saved as .png files. When I click to upload the system immediately responds that the image is uploading but I never receive a message that the upload has completed. If I preview the message there is no image attached.

I waited for 2 minutes for the ffirst screenshot to upload with this message but I did not receive an "upload completed" message.
