Latest update.
The latest version of Thunderbird has deleted all my folders. What Can I do? Please Help.

This not a reply. It is me GWH. When I did the update it seemed to create a new email account but I proceeded anyway. this may help anyone wishing to give me some help. All my sub folders of the main email address are gone plus other email accounts. I have done a search in File Explorer and recent emails are not displayed also.Thanks
You might check to see if you have two profiles. That is, it may be that your original profile is still there. You can check this by going to help>moretroubleshootinginformation and scrolling down to Profiles and click 'about:profiles' to see if an earlier profile is there.
Thanks David for responding. There is only one profile that I can see with no local folders.
It seems you may have done a fresh install, not just an update. I regret, I cannot assist in this.
Is there anywhere else I can go? It does seem the problem is a complete new installation. There are 2 other problems. The toolbars at the top are black and grey and hard to read and I have deleted folders which I do not want and can't get rid of. Even after reinstalling.
