help for a DUMMY
Greetings and sorry for being a nuance but as an 78yr old computer dummy/iliterate I am hoping that there are some of you out there that can help For some time now I have been getting the following message and it is starting to wear a bit thin
Thunderbird.exe-Application Error
The Exeption unknown software exeption (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x011f77d8. click on ok to terminate the program Regards with many thanks in advance Geoff

If that does not help, please start *Windows'* in safe mode with networking enabled - win7 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17419/windows-7-advanced-startup-options-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7
- Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot mode
