Increasing interface font size
I have spent a while reviewing the suggestions for how to make Thunderbird's interface font size bigger, and have concluded that this is not possible. The most common suggestion was CSS changes in chrome/userChrome.css but these are universally ignored (some users reported that it increases line-spacing but not font size).
In effect, we're stuck with what we get. The developers — after 20 years of users begging for the facility — have decided that what suits their visual acuity will have to do for everyone else. It's unclear why this feature is so hard for them to add.
THERE IS NO WAY TO CHANGE THE INTERFACE FONT SIZE IN THUNDERBIRD. NOT AT ALL. IT'S FIXED.

Try the method of changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx:
Apparently Tbird programmers don't want many replies or feedback because they make it hard to find it. They put no interaction that has a Replykey that prompts us to LOG IN. Instead, they just dont offer a reply key or Feedback key at all.
And this font size issue is unacceptable. I've used Tbird for years, but time to let Microsoft handle the email. And like the issue of needing a third party malware-loaded add-on site to alphabetize/change accounts order on the left margin? They should already have offered drag and drop long ago! That too is unacceptable.
And while the whole world wants us to change passwords OFTEN Tbird makes it hard to change them as well. I've had to delete accounts and add them again to change passwords. And they've moved the FILTER mechanism too. They need a SETUP dropdown like they used to have, not the 3 little lines on the upper right margin. Tbird should realize that a friendly menu is one easily used by NOVICES, not just software superusers! Skip the imysterious graphic icons. Screen navigation is no place for proprietary creativity!

1. The global font size can be set with one simple edit as mentioned above. More specific font controls are set in the Advanced section of Options/General/Language & Appearance, or with custom css. Both methods are well-described in numerous topics in this forum.
2. Which site are you claiming is 'malware-loaded'? You're the first person to make such a claim. The next version of TB, available in beta, and due to be released this fall, has built-in drag and drop ordering of accounts.
3. Passwords can be updated through Edit Password in the Saved Passwords context menu. But changes must be made on the mail provider's website, as TB is not an account provider.
4. Message Filters is, and always has been, under the Tools menu. Press Alt if you have hidden the Menu Bar.
