Opened Email not displaying after upgrade to 78.1.0

Hello. I've used Thunderbird for email for many years. A few days ago, a popup box offered an update, and since accepting it, the interface looks a little different, everything seems fine, (all email boxes there, mail downloads to computer okay,) but... when I open an email it's just a blank page. (This is both new mail and ones received earlier.) The only way I can view my actual mail is to restart Thunderbird in safe mode. I have 4 Extensions installed, three of which have been turned off as being incompatible with Version 78.1.0 which is the version newly installed by the update. Disabling the fourth extension does not fix the problem. My mail comes in using IMAP from my hosting on 1and1 The previous Thunderbird version before the update was 68.5.0 Windows 7 I would appreciate any advice as to a solution to this odd problem.   • Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • click on 'Open Folder' button

a new window opens showing contents of profile name folder

  • Exit Thunderbird now - this is important.
  • Delete this file : xulstore.json , a new one will be generated after restarting.

Start Thunderbird.

Please report back on results.

English: You do have an xulstore.json file. Thunderbird needs the xulstore.json file. It contains information on Toolbar, window layout and size/position settings. But if you have same problem as the person who posted the question, then deleteing it will force a new one to get generated as the old one contains an error which means emails appear blank.

If it works in safe mode, you likely have either an incompatible add-on or a broken layout. Launch again in safe mode, check 'Disable all add-ons' and 'Reset toolbars and controls', then 'Make changes and restart'. Does it now work in normal mode? If so, you should re-enable add-ons one-at-a-time and test for incompatibilities. Remove incompatible addon extensions. Check to see if a new addon is available.

Spanish is es-ES download and install the Thunderbird Setup 78.1.0.exe file.
