I can't access my saved passwords
Hello, Today I tried to copy my email password to log in with browser, but I got a confirmation box. What credentials should I put in the box? I tried to use my Windows account and then user/password from my email (I have a copy on paper, just in case), none of them worked. Is this a bug in new Thunderbird beta? I installed it on Friday, because Thunderbird 77.0b3 has integration with Exchange server Could you confirm what should I put as credentials? Regards, Mariusz

If you click Other choices (opcji), you can choose another user account or click the current one to autocomplete the user name, so you just need to enter the Windows user account password. This is a new feature in the next release of TB, 78, to protect access to the mail account passwords.

That's your Windows user account credentials being asked for. The correct ones should work just fine, I just tested, so you're either getting the username or password or both wrong.

Thank you for your help, it was my mistake. I was putting my PIN instead of password. Windows account worked fine
Stan figured out his problem. But it would help if your "user account" for what program? Was NOT specified.
sfhowes Knows exactly what account is being referred to. But the questioner does not. IF a user has a password to sign in to windows that hurtle has already been made. Design Why demand the same password again even worse without specifying what account is being referenced? A simple "Operating System" user would be an amazing help.
