I am in the process of switching from Windows (Windows 10 convinced me of this ) to Linux (Ubuntu).

I've went to tools, and display password, And it displayed it as it is supposed to. My problem here is that when I enter the information into my Ubuntu/Thunderbird I get tons of errors, and warnings from Google saying my account was being hacked.

Help me out on this please.

Try setting up your accounts with Oauth2 like in this article: https://www.supertechcrew.com/thunderbird-oauth2-gmail/ When I did it I found that I had to Enable cookies in TB for it to Work.

That worked, Thank You

Now I only need to find my Skype PW and can say farewell to Windows. Thank You again.
