Random "sending of the message failed"

Hello!

I've been receiving seemingly random (and annoying) message dialogues from Thunderbird with "sending of the message failed". I've not tried to send any messages. Sometime the message dialogue appear every 10 minutes. Sometimes it won't appear for a day.

I've tried to search various logs for the source of the dialog but with no success. I would be thankful for help with troubleshooting the issue.

Is that the entire error message? Usually there is a bit more information.

Are you using a Linux , MAC or Windows OS ?

Do you have anything in 'Outbox' folder?

Do you have any other email program on your computer which you may have used in the past ?

In Thunderbird: Do you use 'Enigmail' or 'Send Later' addon extension ?

Does it only occur whilst you are in the Write window composing emails or it also occurs when no Write window is open?
