Where do i find a msi package for latest thunderbird?? firefox has the msi packages availible! Is thunderbird going to support GPO ADMX templates? firefox does
Being a small business, i have used thunderbird for years!!, but i have started to setup a AD server to help on the maintainence. And i wish to deploy software with GPO.
Its strange how thunderbird, a good business email client, doesnt have enterprise support files :(

An msi installer and policy engine for Windows GP will be available for TB 68, on the page cited above, due some time this month.

Thunderbird is somewhat less well funded than Firefox, so we tend to follow their lead, plus in many cases we need things in "their code" first before we can make something work in ours. They only recently started providing MSI installer, and so now we are also able to provide it.
We would have loved to have done it sooner.
