disable your anti virus and try that again. They often cause issues with passwords on email.

Did you generate an app specific password after you turned on 2 step? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12408/microsoft-account-about-two-step-verification

I don't have any antivirus program.

And how i can create an app specific code?

And how exactly that works?

Every time i must generate a new code for thunderbird or i enter a different password for thunderbird?

Read the link I provided. Microsoft dreamed it up. They have instructions.

Already did that but i don't understand if everytime i need the android app to use the generated code or any other program that generate codes.

Isn't a way to use the thunderbird with one and only password for the mail account i enable 2 step verification?

You use Microsoft mail. You use their rules. There are 4 steps and none involve Android anything. The steps for generating a new app password are always the same. Repeat these steps to get a different password for every app or device that needs an app password:

Go to the Security basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select more security options.

Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.

Enter this app password where you would enter your normal password.

And all these i must do it for more safety reasons?

And are really more safe????

You do not have to do anything. You apparently chose to activate 2 step on your Hotmail account. If it makes you more safe is a question to ask Microsoft. I am not sure why you continue to question all of this here. None of it has to do with Thunderbird.

I try that but thunderbird DOESN'T accept the password hotmail generated at this step "Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. A new app password is generated and appears on your screen."

So what i can do?
