Can Thunderbird accept two email addresses in the same account, both having the exact same email address?
How ever it occurred, my email account has two accounts within itself. Both have the exact email address in one account and it is causing problems.
Problem #1. Depending on which account I click, it seems to load that one for the day.
- 2. There seems to be a renewing reload every time I open each one and causing enormous amounts of time to "refresh".
- 3. With the waiting time needed, I am usually faced with a "time out" , only to return to an incomplete experience.
- 4. Due to the size of emails received, I am hoping to merge the two into one, delete one of them and then declutter the riff raff and stream line the one account. Is this possible?

You can not merge IMAP and POP accounts. Adding the old pop mail to an IMAP account will result in them being re uploaded to the server with in your case probable mass duplication.
Well, some how through no direct intentional means of my own, I now have the same email address twice in the same account. I've attempted to highlight and transfer one to the other, to then delete one, but that transfer has not resulted in any success.
