I have used K9 mailer for perhaps 5 years quite happily - this is my first question please.

In general I use "unified inbox" and sort the messages by "Date". This shows almost all messages sorted by the date/time they were sent, which is what I want. I often turn my tablet off for hours or days and then back on, so arrival time is delayed, but date/time sent is not.

My ReoLink cameras are configured to email me images under certain conditions. these messages always sort to the top, even though they were dated some time back. For example I turned on my tablet today (Monday) for the first time since Saturday, and received much mail. the ReoLink messages sorted right at the top. If I look at "show headers", at the end of the "received" field, it shows the correct original date of saturday morning. but the date/time at the far right of the "unified inbox" display shows the time at which I turned the tablet on and the message was received - only for this message, not for any others.

I am suspecting this may be a reolink problem, but not exactly sure what to tell them.

I'm using Thunderbird on my Chromebook. I can't use the pointer to open the "more options" menu (the three dots) in the email to get to forward and other options. Hovering over the dots shows the "More Options" message, but clicking does not open the menu. I have a touch screen chromebook and discovered that I can touch the three buttons and it opens. Once the menu is opened, the mouse pointer works to select forward and the other options.

Hello on my Samsung S24 synchronisation of email became very slow for a few days. I trier to réinstall TB but it did'nt change anything. Do you please have any idea where could be the bug and the way to fix it ?

I'm using Thundebrird version 17.0 on Android 15. I sent last month an email (from Thundebrird Desktop) to multiple people and got from around 20 of them responses which I critically need to preserve. I deleted none of them (intentionally). Today I found out that 15 of them disappeared from my inbox, when checking on Thunderbird on my laptop. On my phone I can find those 15 in my trash folder grouped together. I was super relieved to find these critical responses but also confused since I definitely didn't delete 15 of those emails. Most likely they were grouped together and I swipe delete them by accident. I mark each of them and select "move to" -> "Inbox". And now they just vanished. They are no longer in my trash and don't show up in my inbox. Normally when I move from deleted to inbox they move fine, same for spam.

Anything I could do? Anywhere I could look for these emails?

As the subject says, Thunderbird 18.0 for Android keeps crashing silently. There doesn't appear to be any specific trigger; periodically, the app just disappears off screen. Since it doesn't seem to be related to a specific user action, I wonder whether a background process (such as server syncing) might be causing it. My device is a Samsung Tab A-9.

I have just reinstalled T/B (3-4 times now). Scanned barcode from notebook. Installed ok. This mobile T/B DOES NOT give me any option to add folders. Only: inbox, outbox, drafts, sent, deleted. I at least want (1) extra folder to store messages. How do I achieve this? Thanks My laptop T/B works well (on Ubuntu)

I installed Thunderbird on a new Motorola Razr running Android 15. It worked just fine for a few days, but now will not download any new emails (GMail on the same phone is working fine). I have two accounts installed. One (much smaller) seems to be working fine, while the other is only partially working. Namely, I can only see emails from Monday or earlier (today is Thursday).

If I use my desktop to delete one of the older messages that is displayed on the phone, it will be removed from the phone the next time I swipe down and have it refresh the inbox. If I use the desktop to update the read/unread status of an email that does appear one the phone, that is not updated when I refresh the phone.

It is a recently added account, is it possible that the device is just downloading older messages and is backed up? I don't know where or how I could access the activity monitor (or whatever the proper name is) to see what the program is or is not doing.

after yahoo messed up their email beyond usability I am looking for an email client.

I like Thunderbird with it's neat and clean user interface. But even with 0 subject lines ans compact settings I only see 8 emails per screen on my 10" tablet.

Is there another setting that I have missed which would give me at least 20 emails per screen?

Also search is incredibly slow (one result every 1-3 seconds). Is that only because I just recently installed it?

Imported desktop settings to TB Android on my phone. Used your instructions and seemed to go well (done it before). Android install of both Gmail accounts I imported are 'stuck' showing ONLY the outboxes. Can't get anywhere else. What do I need to do to correct the install on my phone. Desktop install was done manually and seems to work.

Hello, this problem is driving me mad and I am at the point where I give up with Thunderbird

What's happening is "random" emails go into the outbox and stay there, I have no choice but to delete them.

There is no rhyme or reason for this.

The majority of emails send, even to the address that will randomly stay in outbox. !!

I have deleted the account and reinstalled it, used the same settings that are on another account that I don't have a problem with.

I am using android on galaxy tablet.

Anyone have any ideas
