If I try to attach or download (only with the Always ask you where to save files option turned on) a file in any website, the browser doesn't open the Files window. Drag and drop works. I am able to choose the download folder from the settings and upload any folder, though.

I'm running Firefox 103.0.1 on Linux Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Hello, when I click on link with middle mouse button it will open that link on next tab but doesn't "jump" there, which is fine. But when I do the same with pdf links, it will automaticly "jumps" on the pfd file. And I don't want to. I want to open it like normal link (on next tab in background), because I have a lot of pdf files to open, and this makes it difficult to do it qucikly. Before some weeks this wasn't a probem, it started now.

Hi I use my Firefox account on my personal computer and on my own computer on a server at work. Since my Firefox was updated to most recent version, I have not been able to save any passwords on Firefox on my server site. I tried adding a primary password using Firefox while on the local station, but it is not functional. Every time I open any new page to where I have an account, I have to reenter my Primary password before signing in to the site. I have since disabled this feature as it is not working for me. Firefox seems to be working fine on the local station at work and on my personal computer at home.

My Computer service tech for the server is unable to resolve this. I have also consulted a computer tech in the community who has not been able to solve it. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice. We have gone through a multitude of settings on the Firefox site. I am able to save the passwords without issue if I use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

I am looking for someone who can give me guidance on what settings I many need to change. I simply want to be able to enter my user name and password for the common sites that I use, ask Firefox to store them so I do not have to retype them every time.

My firefox browser can't shown the correct myanmar unicode script when I type in google page and other websites also shown the wrongly font scripts that are unable to read. I'd asked to google and they said it is the font rendering problem and advice ask to your team for help. Please take a look and advice me how to fix it. I'd installed myanmar unicode font in browser and set as default. Other websites which are use Myanmar unicode are also shown the wrong script in firefox browser. The browser version is 103.0.1(64bit).

I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? everytime I open firefox, it automatically switches tabs like these which require authentication to log in. even though their password is saved, I am still required to click in sign-in button.

Its really annoying that these kind of tabs get opened automatically, and then I have to switch back. Is there a way to disable this autoswitch or better, let the authentication happen automatically since the password is already stored ?

When printing double-sided from Firefox 103, the second page comes out upside-down. A previous thread 'Two-sided printing rotating on wrong axis' reported this problem for Firefox 85 / 86, and said that it was fixed by updating to the current version. I have the current version, but am getting the same problem. I have tried manually setting instructions to flip on long side (portrait orientation), but that doesn't work. Help!

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! None of the menu buttons work at the top of yahoo mail in firefox when an e-mail is open, I am able to use these in Microsoft Edge. Until the last update of firefox they worked so something broke in the latest release 103.0.1 is my guess. I restarted without extensions and still broken.

OS - Ubuntu22 Firefox - Default firefox on ubuntu22 (Mozilla Firefox 103.0.1)

Use case - 1. Custom profile folder (named prof1) contains pref.js and chrome folder with custom css file. 2. prof1 is created in -> "/customData/profiles/prof1" 3. The folder "/customData" has full rwx permissions and is owned by $USER (not by root)

Output -> 1. When launching firefox mentioning the profile -> "$ firefox --profile /customData/profiles/prof1"

The browser does not load, but there is an error box saying Profile Missing Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.

Questions -> 1. Is it possible to load firefox profile from root directory ? 2. If custom profile folder is created in "/home", then it is launching and working perfectly. How is this possible when the permissions and owner is same as the one in "/customData"

frustrated and thinking about moving away from firefox. why not let us choose whether to update or not??

cookies deleting you have to search for each and everyone (why not sorted by installed date???) then one has to delete all the site cookies that are ok cause such a big effort to clear cookies!
