Hi, I keep receiving an email regarding this issue.

Your Mozilla account and data will be deleted Your Mozilla account is used to access free privacy and browsing products like Firefox sync, Mozilla Monitor, Firefox Relay, and MDN. On Saturday, May 17, 2025, your account and your personal data will be permanently deleted unless you sign in.

Could you please help me sort it out? Also, see the attached screenshot.

I continually received messages from Mozilla stating that my Mozilla account and data would be deleted.

I got the message see beloy (French text translated by Deepl into english). The full french message is attached. "Mozilla logo Your Mozilla account and data will be deleted in 7 days Your Mozilla account is used to access free privacy and browsing products such as Firefox sync, Mozilla Monitor, Firefox Relay and MDN. Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted on Thursday, May 15, 2025 due to your inactivity."

I can't understand this messsage as I use daily several times the Mozilla products Thunderbird and Firebird. Please dont cancel my account as it would have catastrophic consequences. Please tell me what I should do to avoid that cancellation.

I keep getting email from accounts@firefox.com saying my account is going to be closed since I haven't used it in two years. I use it constantly! I have it downloaded to my Dell laptop, and I use it all the time. Is this a scam?

My address has changed since original Firefox sign in. You asked for main email which I used . It’s ok but different from original. Can I have the one on my computer which is old and the new one for Firefox on my phone?

bold hallo. I have received today a message , allegedly, from Mozille saying that my account will be closed in 7 days because have not used it for sometime. It is incorrect and not true. My address is : [edited] @outlook.com and uses Chrome as platform. Can this be a scam? Any feedback would be welcome. Thank you. Lorenzo

My Google account work, but gmail ********@gmail.com do not work on My PC at all. But on mobile still work. If You have any replay, please send to recovery mail ****@sbb.rs (email redacted by a Moderator)

I have registered vtsundrarajan@gmail.com in many Indian government portals such as GSTIN, Ice gate.gov.in, and DEFT. Many of these sites are also used as ID for more than 40 days, I have not been able to log in to my Gmail account or recovery email ID kindly describe issue to rectify the probelem

Je viens de m'ouvrir un compte MOZILLA ,car précisement sur CHROME mon compte MICROSOFT est pollué par ce WOT sécurity scan qui vient , je ne sais d'où et qui , au prétexte de me protéger vient de bloquer mon blog de théâtre amateur sous prétexte que c'est un site pour adultes alors qu'il n'en est rien ! I always use Mozilla/Firefox for this and have for a few years. It says that I created an account 2 weeks ago.

Here is the email I received:

"A couple of weeks ago you created a Mozilla account, but never confirmed it. For your security, we will delete the account if not verified in the next 24 hours."

Is this a legitimate email?
