Firefox Browser Repeatedly Asks Me To Introduce My Primary Password After I've Already Signed In

I have a primary password. Every time I open up the Firefox browser, I have to manually introduce the password.

That's fine. No problem there.

Here's the problem: even after I've signed in, sometimes, in what appears to be the system glitching, I'm required to continually introduce the password, even when I'm already signed in. The browser KEEPS asking for the password, when I've introduced it several times.

Again, this doesn't always happen. But it should never happen.

I'm using Macbook Pro. The latest operating system. Firefox browser also up to date.
