When my PC is in idle mode and the browser (Firefox) isn't on, it suddenly opens a window with an ad on it. This stuff happens every 5-10 minutes randomly.
Two cases: 1) When no browser window is running. 2) When at least 1 browser window is running. In case 1, it redirects me from another application to the browser window and loads a random ad site which plays a video content without permission and consuming the internet. In case 2, it randomly opens a new window and not a new tab, redirecting me to it and show the ad stuff. This process takes place every 5-10 minutes, irrespective of my activity. I disabled all plugins and ad-ons and also scanned my pc with windows defender, it detected nothing. I am not able to diagnose what's causing it, but one website that loads often is the CyborgAdManager, something like that. Websites like :
http://www.diskountz.co/
http://mojorojo.net/ (this one loads a video)

I got your email... Well, thank you for your solution... But I'd like to quote it...before I saw your email, I manually searched for a few programs and got rid of some...and so the issue was solved. I couldn't make a note of the program names, sorry for that... it would have helped in development purpose... Well, if I face same problems in future, I'd make a note of the program names during the manual operation and try your solution if mine fails... I am still clueless how those programs got installed on the pc... and it affected only Firefox... while I also have chrome and even Internet explorer (LOL)... I request you to take a look... as this issue seems browser specific... Anyways...thanks again!!!
Sure it can be browser specific. And it might only affect the Default Browser as set in the Operating System.
Or, install a sketchy extension / add-on in any browser and can affect just that one browser. Install a sketchy program into your operating system and it could affect any or all major browsers; or the scumbag who distributed that sketchy program may have targeted just one browser to the exclusion of other browsers.
Or a Rootkit could have been installed, which could be a lot harder to remove than a simple viral piece of Malware ...
