Hi,

For many years I have been able to read my horoscope at WWW.Tarot .com. I usually get a daily email. Email message loads fine but when I click on the read horoscope link it goes into part of the bottom advertising part and not the actual horoscope. It works fine with Internet explorer and on my phone. I have tried disabling the popup blocker and has not help. It only happens in Firefox. I have cleared the cookies and cache. I don't know what else to try. I know something is blocking the page but I don't know what. When I click on the link to read the Horoscope it goes into the TRENDING TODAY page. How can I fix this? Please help.

Hi,

I was able to fix it by following article Pop-up blocker settings, exceptions and troubleshooting in Firefox but when I clicked again to recheck the same thing happened. Update: not working anymore. why is Firefox all of the sudden blocking this page?

Hello Amylogamy,

Try opening the page in Safe mode:-

  • Find the Firefox icon or click Start and type Firefox.
  • Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard and then click the Firefox icon.
  • In the Firefox Safe Mode window, click the Start in Safe Mode option.

If it doesn't worked, then feel free to ask in Reply Section. thanks for raising your question in Mozilla Support Forum.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately starting Firefox in Safe Mode did not solve the problem.

See also this other question:

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

Hi cor-el

Thank you for your replies. I tried so many things yesterday for hours and nothing worked. It seems to be an intermittent problem. Right now the website is working fine. One of the things that happened yesterday is that I would try one of the solutions given, the problem would be fixed but then when I checked again the problem had returned. Example I disabled my ABP blocker, then it worked. Still disabled right now. I unclicked on the bluish shield at the top and disabled the Enhance Tracking Protection. I unclicked Block popup windows in the Private and Security section. All these solutions would work for one time then go back to the problem. Safe Mode did not solve the problem. I even went back into an old Firefox profile and the problem was there too. I have noticed that the website is a little different so maybe Firefox is blocking the new content. There is a lot of popups in this website. I can see them when I check it in my Android phone and in Internet Explorer. Also this is a desktop with Windows 7 I am using . I have not checked to see if the problem exists in my Windows 10 laptop.
