how to make download process shown in notification area

When i start a download, i can't be sure if the download is started or not, I also can't see how much download is left and how much is left....is there a way I can see the download? And if possible when the download disconnects in the middle,I can resume it???

I understand that when you download a file from the Firefox OS built in browser that you would like to see a progress for the downloads. Currently this feature is not implemented. However there have been requests for a progress bar.

I do not have an estimated time for when this will be available. Please also leave feedback about the use of this feature in input.mozilla.org.
