I've reported these issues before with no response. I've uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and cookies searched another forums et cetera. Why must I manually update when it's set to auto update? When I set controls to ask where to download items it bypasses that and downloads it as a temp file where I have to cut it out of explorer and paste it where I would like to save it.

I would like to be able to make sure if a pop-up window is blocked, that I'm being notified about it, but there are no options in settings.

I read through the instructions listed on the help pages and found a message from support from 4 years ago about manually editing the settings, which wasn't helpful.

Are they just on by default now? Or did they get turned off and if so, how do I turn them back on?

(p.s. having something teach you how to do something, this case getting trouble shooting data manually, should open another window, not navigate me away from the page I'm sending this message from)

I simply want to use a password to open Firefox. I don't want to set up Firefox sync. How can I set up a simple password as permission to open Firefox without accessing sync?

Firefox on my pc loads Ebay.com with Chinese characters, not English.

This ONLY happens on PC (mobile phone is fine, same firefox browser) only with firefox (Duck Duck Go on my pc works fine) and ONLY when opening Ebay.

Problem started 4/29. I have done: computer update/restart, firefox update/restart, clear cache in firefox

Every time I open Firefox another blank window opens behind the main Firefox pages . I see it when I close Firefox so have to close that too. There is no URL in the window just a blank page.

I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

I have played "Hero Wars,Dominion Era " for years on Fire Fox...They did an "update" last week(Thursday or friday 04/25-26?24)and I haven't been able to log onto the game itself since...I can still open the Hero wars home page,I can get into my "discord" chat etc etc etc,but I cannot get into my individual game.(If it helps,my Hero wars game ID # is 10920140)...I had to start playing the game itself on Google Chrome...I am hopeing you can help find a solution as everything I do is from Fire Fox & I really don't like chrome :(...PLEASE Help me resolve this if possible! ( Nexus suggested I use "Incognito" on FireFox ( I remeber that from a few yrs back,but honestly,i haven't used or seen "incognito" since :()

When logging into an account there are multiple usernames (incorrect or older.) I would like to remove or delete them, but keep the current passwords.

Is that possible without deleting the account?

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

I want to enable cookies for outlook and google, the rest I dont want.

I have attempted to look at the cookie's url for outlook and add that to the exception list, but outlook still harasses me with its annoying 2fa

How do I find the actual address to put in the exceptions list to stop this issue?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

I am autofilling an ELSA payment portal. Firefox autofills the payment information correctly. But the program will not recognize the autofilled information and doesn't let me process the payment. I then overwrite all my information and then it allows me to proceed with the payment. I have used the same procedure for years but as of this last week, the autofilled information is not recognized as I click the "Continue" button after the autofilled info is complete, and it won't work. The ELSA source (State of Wisconsin) person said it's a browser problem on my end. No. The online form autofills just fine. Can anyone help? Thanks. Jeff

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

I followed instructions for adding bookmarks from html file. Got to "import from html" . I can see the html file I want to access, but when I push "open" nothing happens.

 One of my email accounts Yahoo or Gmail appears to have been hacked. I received two phishing emails this week --3 if you count the last one who said she was calling on behalf of Medicare/Social Security and All members could get a preloaded card for several hundred dollars. I knew there was a plan to help certain folks, but it was not available to everybody. I asked her for the name of the plan and she hung up. the webpage she sent me to first or told me to go there where I could talk to a licensed agent. Do people who answer the phone have a license like insurance salespeople? Anyway, they had copied the govt. the site is right up the US sea.

Okay, just an example so I decided to try that KeeopassXC program you were offering but I could never get it to complete.

but it did something as I can't use my password They cancel your account if you tell them the truth --better just to say I need help resetting my password. They then ask you to send them a picture ID as in Driver's License. Noway I am going to do this --so I have at least some pretty valuable info if I can't get in.

Ny first time writing here - if any response please direct suggestions to pke225x2gmail or I guess I will check here. Don't know how you put people with possible solutions to seeker of HELP.

I would like the address bar to show what it would show when you type a "?" just by clicking. It's a default feature in chrome, I know, mentioning a competitive browser as an example is kind of a no no, but it's the only example I can think of.

after updating newest the version of Firefox the option to" restore previous windows opened " does not work. Is there a work around when I close my browser and then reopen the browser so that all the tabs that I had opened before closing my browser return as if I never left?I went into my setting and have the "open previous tabs" is checked. I even restarted my browser but nothing simple seems to work. Thanks in advance

My name is Grey, and I'm experiencing an issue using Firefox as a browser to open my Outlook mail. For the past three days I have not been able to open any emails as a network error screen appears. Using other devices and other browsers like Edge, the emails open fine, so it is not actually a network issue. This problem only occurs using Firefox, and specifically with Outlook emails. Everything else functions fine and I have not made any changes, besides the regular Firefox update. My computer is also up to date.

What can I do about this issue? I appreciate the advice,
