Why do I loose my app-tabs everytime I restart Firefox 4?

I installed Firefox 4, read about the helpfull app-tabs, so put all my social media site in app-tabs. But when I restart Firefox all app-tabs are gone. I searched in the settings but couldn't find a place to 'save' my app-tabs.
