Firefox v45 on LMDE (LinuxMint Debian Edition) extremely often will freeze the entire machine requiring a hard boot. There has been no issue with Firefox until the last 7-10 days. The freezing of the machine is so frequent that it renders Firefox unusable. The standard fixes were attempted by several of us without effect (hardware acceleration off, safe mode and so on).
