hello, i know of no ongoing development or efforts by mozilla of porting firefox to the windows phone platform. originally there have been technical and legal hurdles in the app store which discouraged mozilla from starting any developments in this direction. i don't know about the current situation, but since mozilla is now focusing its energies on creating firefox os as open source web-based platform, i doubt that you will see firefox on your windows phone device in the foreseeable future...
This sounds bad for me. This means that my new LUMIA 950 never can run Firefox!
Also the Windows Phones have a tiny market share that is shrinking compared to the Android and iOS devices.
Yes, Microsoft met the market with big words about investing into many new apps. Nothing happened. I feel trapped with my Lumia 950. Old Mr. Balmer said that they should have made a sollution for using the Android Apps not spending time for making own apps. A good idea I mean.
What can we users of their new Phones do?
