On Vista I upgraded from 12 to 19 of Firefox and it did not save my bookmarks so can they be resurrected?
I was never prompted to save my bookmarks elsewhere, not was I given the chance to do so in the installation process. Can my bookmarks be resurrected?

During updates, the Firefox installer should automatically find your old settings folder. Did any personal settings survive or is it like a blank slate?
If it's a blank slate...
Firefox may have been unable to access your personal settings folder (profile folder) and created a new one instead. You can check whether you have multiple profile folders as follows:
Open your currently active settings older using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
In Windows Explorer, navigate up one level. Do you see more than one folder there?
If you have another profile folder, exit Firefox and use the profile manager to start up with your other profile as the active one. This article describes how to start up in the profile manager. Don't delete or remove anything for now; you can clean up later when you are 100% certain that everything is the way you want it. Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.
