I own a Coby Kyros MID7024; it has android 2.2. However it is not a mobile phone, therefore it's impossible to download anything from the Android Market; it provides Appslib by default, and firefox is not available there (yet ?).

Coby Kyros tablets do not ship with Google Mobile applications such as the Google Market or Gmail. It does not need to be a phone to have Google Market.

You can install it manually. http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/7.0.1/android/en-US/

It has essentially a Cortex-A8 (ARMv7 and 512MB RAM so it should work.

"It does not need to be a phone to have Google Market"

This isn't true - Android Market will not allow downloads by any device that doesn't have a phone number (as is true of many tablets). Mozilla may not care because it is not for profit, but other developers should seriously consider placing their apps on a site other than Google's, like Amazon App Store or Handango.

Your link solved the problem for me and my gTablet, though.

Most to all Tablets do not have a phone feature as I was saying it doers not have to be a phone. If it is asking you to add a phone number on a tablet then there are a few ways around this. for example: http://phandroid.com/2011/02/04/solved-android-market-website-says-there-are-no-android-phones-associated-with-this-account/

Mozilla is looking at other options also if I recall like Amazon and such.
