Except where noted, everything here applies only to Firefox 146 and the Firefox 140.6 ESR. Firefox 140 is the current [[Firefox ESR release cycle|ESR]] so, going forward, no enterprise changes will be backported to Firefox 128 ESR.

=Firefox Support for Organizations=

=Other Changes=
*The version number, architecture and language were removed from the Windows uninstall registry key in order to improve compatibility with third-party tools. This was done in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1995769 bug 1995769]. This does not apply to the ESR.
*Firefox Labs can now be enabled regardless of the status of the <code>DisableTelemetry</code> or <code?DisableFirefoxStudies
=Bug Fixes=
*The <code>Chatbot</code> option in the [https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#generativeai GenerativeAI] policy did not turn off the Generative AI on the page context menu. This was fixed in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1994791 bug 1994791].
=Policies=
*When using the [https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#websuggest WebSuggest] policy, <code>WebSuggestions</code> now turns off Suggest completely.
*The [https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#enabletrackingprotection EnableTrackingProtection] policy has been updated so that <code>BaselineExceptions</code> and <code>ConvenienceExceptions</code> can be set when in strict mode. This does not apply to the ESR.
=Special Notes=
We are extending [https://whattrainisitnow.com/release/?version=esr Firefox 115 ESR support] for Windows 7/8 and macOS 10.12/10.13/10.14 users until March 2026.

*User choice was not maintained when using the <code>DisplayMenuBar</code> policy. This was fixed in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1996449 bug 1996449]. This did not affect the ESR.
*The <code>DisablePasswordReveal</code> policy stopped working at some point. This was fixed in [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2001459 bug 2001459].
=Policies=
*The [https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#browserdatabackup BrowserDataBackup] policy has been added to allow for the enabling or disabling of profile backup and restore. This does not apply to the ESR.
