Since the last Firefox update circa 5/18/2026 there is an orange cast on the home screen. toggling the hardware acceleration on or off makes no difference. Cannot find night light on/off in settings.

I love Firefox so much, Ive been using it for about a year now Ive came from using Opera GX but honestly Firefox is just my go to browser. I miss the old logo and think it looks better please go back.

FIXED IT - browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.nova.enabled turned to False! Ok to delete my question. I don't see how to do it. Thanks.

Firefox was updated yesterday. Now I have a large white area above the Firefox logo, and the second row of the tiles is at the very bottom of the screen. I have poor eyesight, and I need to use the internet Zoom setting at 120%. Everything was fine before the update. Please see attached - this is just the left side snippet, but you can see the center of the page is all in the lower half. I'm not tech-savvy, so please give me plenty of steps. Thanks.

Every few days the contents of all of my bookmarks in my Bookmarks Toolbar folder are erased. The bookmarks are all there, but none of the books marks has any contents. Of course, it is easy to reload them by restoring bookmarks, but this should never happen in the first place.

Does anyone know why this is happening, and how to fix it?

I'm running Windows 11 Pro and Firefox 151.0.1 (64 bit)

Today, for the first time, I could not login to my bank using my Swedish Bank-ID to identify myself. The ordinary QR-Code was no longer the same and was therefore not readable for my phone camera. Have there been any recent update of Firefox, which could explain this?

I just updated Firefox to version 151.0. The release notes say:

"Private Browsing Mode now allows you to instantly clear all data from your current session without closing the entire window. When you select the End Private Session button (the fire icon) to the right of the URL bar, Firefox will ask you to confirm to clear your session. Once confirmed, it will wipe all of your private browsing data and open a fresh new Private Browsing Mode session for you."

There is no "fire icon" in my toolbar in private browsing windows. I have tried resetting my toolbar to defaults, but that didn't help. I re-installed Firefox 151.0, but that didn't help. I re-booted my system, but that didn't help. I have run out of ideas.

Can anyone tell me how to get this button to appear in the toolbar in private browsing sessions?

I'm using Windows 11 25H2 on a Dell XPS 9630 tower computer.

Hi, after updating to FF ver. 151 (Linux Mint 22.3) the container icon on my address-bar disappeared. I can still use containers by right clicking in the bookmarks drop down menu.

I have custom userChrome file that made my history and hamburger menu (application menu / settings) text and distances smaller since Firefox introduced this ugly feature, trying to be cool in windows 10 times. Nowadays even windows 11 brings back compact mode but firefox still uses huge spacing. I just fixed issue with custom CSS and forgot about it. Unfortunately, after updating to FF 151, my CSS is ignored and I am forced to new ugly context menu. What is weird, I still have good small pacing when right-clicking pages, UI elements and when I enter bookmarks. Only places that ignore my CSS are hamburger menu for settings and list under history view. I do not really understand this code, I just copied it from someone else. Can someone help me fix this issue?

I have been using our CT association's multiple listing service, Smart MLS, on Firefox for years. All of a sudden, while I can log in and can select a search, nothing happens when I press "view results". I even logged in independently from my bookmarked address - still the same problem. Can I call someone to talk this through?

I am trying to comprehend the VPN button on the toolbar. It clearly has an "x" to close the vpn icon, but instead it brings it up. What is the "x" close icon intending to close?

Also, while I understand it is a useful tool, I do not understand why VPN is auto-added to the toolbar. That should be an option for the user. For most people it is just adding noise, or a few extra clicks to hide. I like the way Brave does it, handling it similarly to private browsing. Is there a way to use it this way?

When I am in Google hangouts meeting and have anotehr tab open in the browser that is playing music (Youtube), the noise is audible to my hangout meeting attendees. This was never the case until an update of two ago. I do not have this issue with Chrome browser.

When I start VPN, it brings me to a page to choose a subscription, but I have a yearly subscription paid in November 2025. Then my Mozilla account says I am logged on but when I click on the application icon I get a circular icon in the window with a cancel button underneath it. See attachment.
