I was just scrolling through passwords on my password manager and found 2 that didn't belong to me I deleted them but am now concerned as to how they got there. I cannot remember the other spurious one I deleted (as have had a general tidy up whilst I was there) but it gave my user name as 'scottish' which is something I would not use as I am not!

Can you shed any light on how this has happened please? I have run Microsoft Defender and Eset but neither showing any issues.

I need a Thunderbird email account. At the end of the set-up I mistakenly clicked "decline" instead of "allow" Thunderbird permission to read my Gmail messages. I believe I just gave Thunderbird permission to access my gmail as I tried to write Hawaii Labor Board from their website again, Thunderbird email seems to be Hawaii Labor board's only option on their website. My first question: Can I start over setting up a Thunderbird email account linked to my Google email account? Second question: Is it even possible to set-up another account separate from gmail?

Hi All, I recently had to reinstall Thunderbird and managed to migrate my emails and subfolders from the previous installation. However, I think I accidentally linked my email account twice. The first one has all the emails from my account unorganized in one big lump. The second one has all the subfolders, etc that are from the previous installation. Can I delete the first one without it deleting the second one? I'd hate to have to reinstall everything again.

I use FF on a 2012 PC running Windows10. I was going to replace the computer, but a tech shop nearby has recommended (without seeing my computer) updating the hardware within. I have a lot of passwords stored in FF, and I should like some advice regarding protecting privacy by saving them and reusing them on the refurbished computer. Any other comments about refurbishing as opposed to replacing would be welcome.

I have a problem with my primary email. I cannot send out or receive. I'm working with my provider but no resolution as of yet. They did check my settings at the provider level but said everything looks good. I've thoroughly checked and rechecked all my email settings and am unable to see a problem. I'm thinking that since I am not signed into my browser (Mozilla Firefox) with it telling m my account is disconnected that I need to Sync my account, but I cannot do that. So, I have been trying to Sync my Mozilla account but being I have a problem with email I am unable to receive your email code to completely sign into my Mozilla account. What I am wanting to do is to sign into my account and add a secondary email address so to receive your sign in code so that I am able to finish syncing my account. I am lost to know what to do from here! You will be unable to reply to me using my regular primary email address because as I say, I cannot send or receive, so how can you even help me? Please help me some how! I'm sure you have my phone number being I would think it's on my account. Can you phone me? Hopefully! Not sure whether I should put a phone number or the added secondary email address in here so you can add it for me. I can't sign into Mozilla to do anything. I went through my Google account to get this far so to hopefully send this to you. Your help would surely be appreciated! I cannot get firefox to remember my passwords at all, the box save your passwords comes up, I click save every time, my passwords are set to auto fill but nothing ever gets remembered, any one had the same?

am wondering if you could help in a matter with Firefox, since seems to beg Firefox access problem, apparently due to a new feature in Firefox? It has to do with not being able to access Firefox, when I try to open PG&E, (Pacific Gas & Electric Company), as I usually do. I have searched and found that this is apparently a Firefox issue that is being caused by a new feature being utilized in Firefox. It appears that the issue is NOT a PG&E's problem, but some program in Firefox not being compatible with something in PG&E website. Also with this issue, I can't view videos in the news stories, because of thr privacy pop up, it says to allow advertising, which I don't select, since I have gone into Firefox settings and set the it to don't srll my info. And, btw, I was getting the pop up BEFORE I I changed the don't sell settings in Firefox. I have to copy the URL and paste it into Chrome to see the vidros in the news stories. Is there a work around in Firefox that can be used to access PG&E with Firefox, as I have read in a few forums that we need to ‘allow' Firefox from the PG&E web site, but that can't be done if we can't open it in the browser? Not sure if that info is accurate though. Why would Firefox be using a feature that doesn't allow all web sites, if that is the actual cause? When accessing the bookmarks from the top-right of the menu bar (the three line icon), the bookmarks shown are only the recent ones. Would like to see them all bookmarks there. How do I configure that?
