get rid of avg as location bar search

Cant get rid of AVG as location bar search. Tried to remove addon extension but not an option, so disabled it but didnt work. Then followed change keyword.URL to google but everytime restart start firefox avg takes over again. Even deleted avg from computer, rebooted, changed keyword.URL again to google but still cant get rid of avg.
