I updated firefox to the newest version and now it no longer lets me open the same website more than once, how can I fix this?

I play a flash based game online. I have more than one character in this game and therefore need multiple windows open to play them simultaneously. With your newest version if I open a new tab and type in a website I already have open it just sends me to the first tab that has the website already open.

  • Press the Shift key while an entry in the drop down list is highlighted to disable "Switch to Tab" and see the URL.
  • Use the cursor Right key to select an item marked as Switch to Tab in the drop down list and copy the URL to the location bar.
  • Open the URL in a new tab by using Alt + Enter on the highlighted entry.
  • Open the URL in the current tab by using Shift + Enter on the highlighted entry.
