I'm about to give up on firefoz browser altogether. Even when I whitelist sites and change up my option to less stringent blocking, firefox still blocks everytime and virtually keeps me locked out when I'm trying to access a site
, pay a bill, complete a blog, comment on a bookmarked site. While I'm can see script blocker is blocking all the search engines data gathering scripts, what this does is keep me from getting on that site at all. "Allow" does not work, "temporarily allow this page" does not work - it drives me crazy to have like 10 seconds to comment, and Firefox continues to keep it locked. I find I'm using IE more and more and will no doubt take Firefox down soon.

Firefox doesn't block websites with the default settings. If sites or content is blocked then possible causes are extensions that can block content or security software, so check that.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.
