sign into synology nas vpn with FF
i setup synology openvpn and can log in via Chrome on my phone (openvpn is setup on phone also to connect to NAS). However, doing the same thing with FF causes FF to do a google search and it comes back saying it cant search it because it is AI or gives me a blank screen that goes no where. For the record, Samsung browser doesnt work either. It isnt a showstopper because Chrome works. But I would like to know why FF does not work and if it is pilot error. I use the same address I use in chrome (https://192.168.xxx.xxx:5001) and also the ddns address https://[name].synology.me:5001 that produces the AI message.

Hi
Are you able to share a screenshot of the message that you are getting when you try to connect?
When I open OPENVPN (as configured with Synology VPN) then open Chrome and enter my local 192 address for my Synology NAS, it connects to my NAS. If I open FF and enter the same adress i get Secure Connection Failed screen or 400 Bad Request. or it tells me it did not find any documents because it was trying to do a google search. There is really no more info on the screens. I notice that entering https://192....:5001 and it tells me it is a bad request, it has stripped the https from my input. maybe that is what makes it bad. I have no idea how you can reproduce it without a synology NAS. At this point is is just a curiousity since i can use Chrome for this. But it might be an issue with FF that Mozilla wants to explore.
