Can't get out going server on cell to connect
Getting following error trying to setup my Thunderbird email on my cell phone.
Server returned p-input003.msg.pkvw.co.charter.net connection rejected see www.spamhaus.org/query/ip/18.88.32.140 aup#out-1230
I have spent over an hour with Spectrum and all my server settings are correct. Incoming server connects.
Spamhaus says not block listing for 18.88.32.140 but I can't connect to see why Thunderbird is trying to connect to this site. Spectrum has nothing in their files on this site.
How do I get Thunderbird to go to Spectrum servers instead of this site?
BTW my Gmail account works but I could not get Samsung email to configure either but it didn't give any errors just failed to connect.

Can you confirm your SMTP settings are using port 587 and security=StartTLS
Are you using any VPN or security software on your phone? Have you tried rebooting your router. This can give you a different public IP address.
Do you have the same issue when connecting over the cell network rather than your home wifi?
Platform34 Port 587 security=starttls Using Norton's VPN will try turning it off haven't tried rebooting router will try that issue is with both wifi and no wifi connections
