sort inbox by sender
trying to sort my inbox by sender to consolidate ones from a sender. found a solution but could not figure out how. said:
view/sort/sender
cant figure out where to find the 'view' option

It's hidden on the screen because the developers want it to look cleaner. Above the email list, you should see column headers such as Subject, From, and Date. Click on the From or Sender column header. Thunderbird will now immediately sort your entire inbox by sender. You can click on it once more to reverse the order.
Want to keep the bar visible permanently? Right-click an empty space at the very top of the Thunderbird window and check 'Menu Bar'. Then go to View > Sort by > Sender.
